The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards Expands Its Presence in the Middle East

For years International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) has been working with organizations and individuals in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region to provide training and certification options for professionals working with people of determination, including those with autism and other cognitive disorders. With one in six people having a sensory disorder and a rising autism diagnosis rate in the region, IBCCES saw a need to establish a second headquarters in Dubai to help fill the cognitive disorder training gap for professionals working with and assisting these individuals. Our new regional headquarters is strategically positioned to work closely with our partners in United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and other countries in the region.

IBCCES' goal is to help organizations in the MENA region find ways to become more inclusive in all aspects of life, from education, healthcare, travel and entertainment, and the community as a whole. With a multidisciplinary advisory board and autistic self-advocates, IBCCES has developed the global standard for training and certification in this space. Our researched-based programs provide the tools and resources to help guide and assist organizations to better accommodate and understand the needs of the autistic population and other persons of determination.

For more than 20 years, IBCCES has been the industry leader in cognitive disorder training and certification for education, healthcare, first responders, law enforcement, and corporate professionals around the globe. IBCCES provides evidence-based training and certification programs created in conjunction with clinical experts and autistic self-advocates in order to provide professionals serving individuals with cognitive disorders a better understanding of what these disorders are, industry best practices, and the latest research in these areas. IBCCES, also recognized that many individuals and families with different needs have limited travel and recreation options or may find it difficult when planning trips. IBCCES developed training and certification programs specifically for attractions, hotels, zoos, aquariums, and other recreational locations in response to this need.
