Bob Valvano is host for The V Show with Bob Valvano on ESPN Radio. Valvano joined ESPN Radio in December 1998. He previously was an analyst for basketball telecasts at the University of Louisville. Valvano was a basketball coach for 19 seasons before entering the field of broadcasting, working at Kutztown University, Catholic University and St. Mary's College. He was master of ceremonies for the J. Roy Rodman Memorial Awards sponsored by the Sports Club of Norfolk, Va., in January 2004. Valvano has served on the boards of directors for the V Foundation for Cancer Research and Kosair Children's Hospital Foundation. He is the author of 'The Gifts of Jimmy V.' He attended Virginia Wesleyan College.
