Financial services writing comes with its own set of challenges. Things like fees, laws, fear of investing, misinformation about saving, insurance coverage complexity and more.

I’ve taken on these complex topics and made them compelling and understandable for employers, advisors, employees and consumers. And I’ve done so in virtually every format for two decades.

I'm a creative professional who is passionate about solving communication challenges. In my various roles, I've had a lot to solve. I am typically given complex material and asked to write something brilliant, often on a tight deadline.

I try to never forget my role as the audience's champion. I ask the hard questions, do my research, strip out the jargon and transform the original material into understandable, compelling copy. And I have a hard-won reputation for doing so on time and with little drama.

When it comes to punctuation, spelling, research, fact-checking, I am an unabashed geek. In fact, one of the loudest discussions I ever had in the workplace was over the use of an em versus an en dash in a brochure. Ask me sometime about that outcome!

In addition to my rock-solid marketing, strategy, project management, writing, editing, proofreading and diplomacy skills, I am comfortable with desktop publishing and graphic design.
