Remko Tanis is a Switzerland-based Freelance Journalist.

Drawing on extensive global editing experience, I deliver reporting on broad-ranging topics by working both independently and collaboratively in a number of fields including journalism, academia and software. I started my career with a master’s degree in history and journalism, and went on to work as international journalist in multiple countries in Asia, while also exploring topics such as the ‘Humanitarian response to conflict and disaster’ and ‘Freedom of expression in the age of globalisation’.
