Joanne Persico is the president and a co-founder of GCN Publishing. She is also on the board of directors of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Long Island Chapter. Ms. Persico is a member of the New York New Media Association, the Graphic Design Consulting Committee for the Nassau Board of Cooperative Education Services, the Long Island Women's Agenda and American Business Media. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Persico was the art director for Open Systems Today, and was also the creative director for Network Computing magazine for four years. She is a recipient of numerous design awards from the Computer Press Association, Cowles Business Media and Western Publications Association. Ms. Persico was also a recipient of the prestigious Jesse H. Neal Award. She holds a Graphic Design degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
