Russ Hill is the director of news and sports programming for KTAR-FM, covering local, national and international news as well as sports. Before joining KSL in the mid-1990's, Hill worked as a reporter at KTAR in Phoenix and before that as a reporter/anchor at KTSA in San Antonio. He has covered, among other things: the LA Riots, Presidential Summits, portions of two Presidential campaigns, the Killeen Lunch Hour Massacre, and the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The staff he manages has won countless awards, among them three national Edward R. Murrow Awards for the best in radio journalism in the last three years.
