Paul Gates is a news anchor and reporter for WAFB-TV and covers international news, local news, national news and regional news. He enjoys church and school. He arrived in Baton Rouge in 1978 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalisim from the University of Houston. He was Reporter of the Year, Communicator of the Year and has several AP awards for various stories. Gates is also a Rotary Club volunteer.
