As a consultant in the security and home automation industries, he is frequently invited to be keynote speaker, conference chair, and seminar leader. He has been a director of the Security Industry Association, Chairperson and Director of the Home Automation Association, and a member of seven other trade associations. He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees in Marketing and a Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) in Management.
