Ms. Leesha Faulkner is the editor of The Selma Times-Journal. Previously, she was a county courts reporter for the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, where she was also a blogger. She played a large role in the newspaper's integration of video into its web site. Before that, Ms. Faulkner was managing editor of the Greenwood Commonwealth. While there, she served on the boards of directors for the United Way, the Red Cross, and the Salvation Army.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Faulkner has also worked at The Pearl Press, where she got her start as a sportswriter; as assistant city editor of The Monroe News-Star; as editor/publisher of Southern Gaming; and as an editorial and investigative writer at The Clarion-Ledger/Jackson Daily News. She earned two Pulitzer Prize nominations with a team of reporters that investigated the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission.[CR-LF] [CR-LF]Ms. Faulkner is a graduate of Millsaps College and holds a master's degree in history from Mississippi College.
