Kyle Dyer is the morning and noon anchor for KUSA-TV. She joined 9News in April of 1996. Since the Spring of 2000, she has also produced "Kyle's Kritters, a weekly feature that spotlights animals at the Denver Zoo. In the Fall of 1996, she was co-host of the Orange Zone, a weekly show that featured the Denver Broncos. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to 9News, she was a field producer and assignment desk editor at WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C. She went on to be a general reporter at WEHT-TV in Evansville, Ind. and then an anchor at WLKY-TV in Louisville, Ky.[CR-LF][CR-LF]She grew up in the Washington, D.C., area and graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in broadcast journalism and a minor in government and politics. She enjoys working with students who are interested in careers in broadcasting and is extremely involved with the Race for the Cure and raising awareness about breast cancer. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Dyer and her husband are the parents of two little girls, Josie and Eliza. They live in Denver.
