Doaa Farid is a Cairo-based journalist covering economy and
business since 2013. Farid was a staff business reporter at Egypt's
English-language newspaper the Daily News Egypt for three years. In early 2016,
Farid was accepted to take part in a Thomson Reuters Foundation programme,
named 'Wealth of Nations', that works with African journalists to produce
investigative stories on taxes and illicit finance. Farid has also gained an
experience in research and translation through working with firms and non-profit
organisations located in the US, UK and the UAE.
