Nancy Cordes is currently congressional correspondent in the Nation's Capital. Previously, Ms. Cordes was an anchor for ABC News One. She also worked as a correspondent for World News Now, Good Morning America and World News Tonight.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining ABC News, Ms. Cordes was a reporter for WJLA-TV in Washington D.C., and began her career in the same capacity at KHNL-TV in Honolulu. Throughout her career she has covered many major stories, including Hurricane Katrina, the war in Iraq, the 2004 election, the September 11 attack on the Pentagon and the D.C. area sniper attacks. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Cordes graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995.
