Amadeus joined Country WGNE-FM as a Morning Drive On-Air Personality in June 2007. He had been the co-host of the same morning show on crosstown rival Top 40 WAPE-FM from 1996 to December 2006. He also hosts The Weekend Showplace on WCWJ-TV, CW 17, in Jacksonville, which airs Noon to 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Amadeus was born and raised on a dairy farm in Sandersville, Ga. He moved to Jacksonville at age 8, and is the son of a career Navy serviceman. Before getting his big-break in radio, Amadeus worked for 16 years at Publix, a Florida-based Supermarket chain. He is also a big movie buff.
