The video released by TMZ, showed Claypool pushing people and possibly kicking someone in the face while they were on the ground.
The incident happened at the Wild Goose Tavern in Costa Mesa, California, on March 13.
TMZ says the issue started with someone throwing dollar bills at a woman inside the bar, and things moved outside from there.
Friends eventually removed Claypool from the fight.
Costa Mesa Police confirmed to TMZ that they responded to the fight, but by the time they arrived, all the parties had left. No one has been arrested or charged with a crime.

The Steelers have not commented on the matter. But Steelers Nation is buzzing.
“I’m totally shocked,” Steelers fan Russell Lunsford from Colorado said.
Colin Dunlap with 93.7 The Fan said while it wasn’t a smart move, Claypool hasn’t made getting into trouble a routine.
“It’s not a pattern of Chase Claypool is involved in fights all the time. It should be one-and-done. If it’s not a one-and-done, then it becomes a problem,” he said.
Both Dunlap and fans agree that Claypool needs to make better decisions when he’s out in public.
“Nowadays, people have phones they can pull out. You just got to be aware of that,” Pitt student Hector Ferdinand said.
There is a feeling that a talk with some of the Steelers’ top brass may be in order.

“Your coach is the moral leader of the team. Let him talk to the guy. I don’t think they need to blow it out of proportion,” Lunsford said.
