Global Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics software vendor, Yellowfin, has announced that it will exhibit at Business Application Research Center’s (BARC) 2015 Congress for Business Intelligence and Data Management as a ‘gold’ event sponsor.
BARC’s BI Congress 2015 will be held 9 – 11 November 2015 at The Vogel Convention Center, Wurzburg, Germany.
As a gold sponsor, Yellowfin will demonstrate its approach to ‘making Business Intelligence easy’ with a presentation in the event’s BI Software track. Sebastian Vogt, Business Intelligence Controller at University of Konstanz (a Yellowfin client), will be demonstrating how easy it is to create valuable business insights with Yellowfin.
Yellowfin Managing Director for EMEA, Peter Baxter, said that BARC BI Congress was timely given the recent release of BARC’s The BI survey 15.
“The BI Survey is the largest survey of BI users in the world,” said Baxter. “Organisations looking for guidance when undertaking BI projects should assess BARC’s report, as well as attend the BI Congress, to understand which BI technologies best fit their requirements.
“Yellowfin is delighted to be the top ranked vendor across five categories within the ‘Mid-sized deployments’ Peer Group of BARC’s The BI Survey 15, including: Proportion of employees, Cloud BI, Collaboration, Mobile BI and Innovation. Yellowfin was also identified as a leader in 11 other categories. We’re very excited to show delegates at the event how Yellowfin is making Business Intelligence easy through our award winning software.”
BARC’s BI Congress 2015 provides BI and data management practitioners with education and practical help that can be applied to real-world BI projects. Tracks include analyst presentations, software demonstrations and case studies as well as best practice awards. Delegates will also have the opportunity to network with leading BI software vendors, users and market analysts in the exhibition area.
The BARC Congress combines results from recent market research by BARC analysts, including data gathered from The BI Survey 15, with experiences from end users, to offer the best possible education on current BI market trends.
