Benjamin Woo is Vice President of IDC's Enterprise Storage Systems research. He is responsible for advising IDC?s clients on the evolution and trends relating to data storage systems; the impact storage systems have on adjacent technologies including servers, software and virtualization; and best practices in the deployment of storage systems in relation to numerous industry dynamics. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining IDC, Woo served as Vice President of Sales at a national provider of technology solutions and services, where he was responsible for the dramatic growth and expansion of the company. He has experience in management roles for Network Appliance, Inc. and MTI Technology Corporation. His career started in Sydney, Australia where he delivered one of the very first keynote speeches on the then emerging data storage technology known as RAID.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Woo graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia, with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree majoring in Accounting, Banking and Finance.
