Murray Waas is a contributing editor for the National Journal. Prior to joining the publication, he was a freelance journalist, known for his investigative reporting. He has been published in various publications, including The American Prospect, Salon, and The Village Voice. He is also a blogger for The Huffington Post, and his personal blog, ?Whatever Already!?[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Waas started his career in journalism working for newspaper columnist, Jack Anderson. He is known for several groundbreaking stories, including his involvement in breaking the story of the Iran-Contra affair during the Reagan administration. Mr. Waas also reported on the first Bush administration?s prewar policy toward Iraq. [CR-LF][CR-LF]He has been recognized for his investigative reporting, and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. He is also the recipient of the Goldsmith Price from the John F. Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Waas is a cancer survivor. He attended George Washington University, but never graduated.
