Jerry Tarde is editor in chief of the Golf Digest and also chairman and editorial director for all Golf Digest Publications, which includes Golf World and Golf Digest Index. He has been the editor in chief of the Golf Digest for over two decades. Mr. Tarde is also a founder of the National Minority Golf Symposium.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He can be reached by e-mail with news releases and story ideas that deal with golf.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Tarde started his career as an intern at the Golf Digest. He was promoted to assistant editor, associate editor, senior editor and finally editor in chief in 1982. The publication won the 1989 Silver Gavel Award from the American Bar Association under his leadership as well as over 100 awards from the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA). Mr. Tarde graduated from the Northwestern University's School of Journalism in 1978.
