Bobby Skafish has been a mainstay of Chicago radio since 1976. Before WDRV, Bobby spent 19 years at WXRT-FM, nearly a year at WKQX in 1993, and spent 10 years as an on-air personality at WLUP. He proved his popularity with Chicago listeners when he was named the editor's pick for Best Radio DJ and 2nd in the Audience Top 10 in the Best of Citysearch 2001. He conceived, programmed, and hosted The Big Beat, a weekly program which served as a radio launching pad for several later-to-be household names, such as U2. Skafish is a resident of Hammond, and he attended Indiana University in Bloomington and majored in telecommunications.
