SHERDIL KHAN

Sherdil Khan, is a Toronto based broadcast/multimedia journalist. 

Before moving to Canada he was working with Pakistan’s state television PTV News as News Anchor and Reporter. His news show “Live@5” was being widely followed by media ranks and masses.  He has more than ten years of experience in broadcast journalism with international, national and private televisions like KBJR6 Duluth (Minnesota, USA), Dunya News, Capital TV, Waqt News and City42. He as a Professional Fellow has been a part of US-Pakistan journalist exchange program under US State Department and International Centre For Journalists. He has vast working understanding in current affairs with profound knowledge on political, social and international issues as well as on sports. All of his experience involves live shows, news and telethons. He has also co-produced his shows and reported from the field.  He as a mentor and a visiting faculty delivered lectures and talks on Media dynamics specially Citizen Journalism. His aim is to highlight the positive picture of the society and this desire drove him to join journalism. He likes travelling to different historical places, listening to music, watching movies and to follow sports specially cricket, field hockey and soccer..
