Bob Rumbold is a sports reporter and anchor for the Fox 61 News at 10 p.m. on the weekends, and Fox 61 Sports Ticket. He also reports from the "Front Row," the popular segment on Sports Ticket. [CR-LF][CR-LF]He joined the Fox 61 family in October 1995. Previously, Rumbold was a sportscaster at WWLP-TV in Springfield, Mass. He was also a sportscaster at WKHT-AM in Manchester prior to being the sports director at WHWH-AM in Princeton, N.J. He has won a number of Associated Press awards including one for his enterprise reporting for the Dangerous Bats. He started his education at Emerson College where he played basketball and baseball, and ended up getting his degree in physical education from Southern Connecticut State University.
