Susan Raff was an investigative reporter for WVIT in Hartford and before that she was a business reporter at WTEN in Albany. She has covered many important stories for the Eyewitness News team. After an investigation into alleged abuse by a counselor at the Curtis home, a facility for troubled children in Meriden, that counselor in question was dismissed. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Raff also brought us closer to the Kennedy tragedy when she interviewed close friends of Carolyn Bessette in Greenwich and she was in New Hampshire when the bodies of two Connecticut pilots were finally found after their small plane had been missing for two years. Raff is active in the community; she does several bike rides a year for different charities. She was the honorary chairperson for Connecticut Breastfeeding Month, hosted by Connecticut Childrens Medical Center. Susan is also an active fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Raff is married to a TV news photographer and is blessed with two children. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Raff has a master's degree in communications from Emerson College in Boston. She received her bachelors degree in English from the University of Denver.
