MERIMA SULJIC

Merima Suljic is a Bosnia and Herzegovina-based Freelance Journalist

Due to my 12 years of journalistic experience in the B&H media (TV& radio stations) and my experience in the field of Public Relations by working for different NGOs, the Government sector, international organizations and foundations, I gained a lot of work experience.

In 2012. I worked as an interviewer for the Cinema for Peace Foundation Sarajevo  - Genocide Film Library. During the 7 months’ time period I interviewed 235 persons who had survived the genocide in Srebrenica. Many of the survivors of the Srebrenica genocide never had the opportunity to speak about what they and their family members experienced in Srebrenica between 1992 and 1995. The Genocide Film Library is a resource that preserves stories which had never before been told and the main goal of the project was to bring together audiovisual testimonies of 10,000 survivors of the Srebrenica genocide.

I am very responsible, communicative and an open-minded person, I may cope well with stressful situations and do every task very professionally. I like team work, but I also can work independently.
