Markowitz Consultants as well as a speaker and founder of Verification API Standards Committee. Dr. Markowitz is a member of the advisory board of the International Biometric Industry Association, a member of the editorial advisory board of the International Journal of Speech Technology and a member of the Committee for ANSI HFES200 Standards. She was named one of the top ten leaders in speech technology in 2003.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Dr. Markowitz holds a Ph.D. in linguistics from Northwestern University and an M.S. in computer science and artificial intelligence from DePaul University.
