Maggie Linton is the program director and a host for SIRIUS XM Book Radio. She was a founding member of the XM Radio staff. Previously at XM, Linton was a sports anchor and producer for the USA Today News Channel and a producer for MLB Home Plate. She has been in broadcasting since the early 1970s. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Linton started her career as a radio sports anchor and later became the first female TV sports anchor in Wichita, Kan. St. Louis, Mo., and Washington, DC. She has hosted both TV and radio talk shows. She was also an actress in the TV show "Homicide: Life on the Street" and she hosted "Star Finder," a 30-part series on the Hubble Space Telescope.
