Drew Lindsay, a senior writer for features and regional news, writes and edits Washingtonian stories about health, education, children, sports, politics, and other subjects. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Before joining the magazine in 2001, Lindsay was editor of Teacher Magazine, a two-time National Magazine Award finalist for general excellence. He has also worked as a writer for Education Week and as a press aide on Capitol Hill. He was an assistant editor at the Washingtonian in the early 1990s. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Lindsay was raised in Bethesda, Md., and graduated from Walt Whitman High School.
