As vice president and research director, Sharyn Leaver leads Forrester's Consumer Markets group, which researches the impact of technology change on retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), travel, auto firms, and the vendors that serve them. Ms. Leaver's current research interests focus on RFID middleware and other emerging technologies in consumer-driven industries. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to this position, Ms. Leaver spent three years at Forrester researching software infrastructure and enterprise applications, with a focus on business process management (BPM), integration, supply chain management, and ERP applications. She also contributed to and led Forrester?s TechRankings? research, which provides hands-on, scenario-based lab evaluations of emerging software markets like collaboration platforms, business process management, portals, and demand management software. [CR-LF] [CR-LF]Before joining Forrester, Ms. Leaver spent several years as a consultant and project manager for Clarkston Consulting, a full-service professional services firm. She was responsible for the delivery of vendor selection and implementation projects involving SAP and other ERP applications, integration technology, and enterprise portals.[CR-LF] [CR-LF]Ms. Leaver holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems technology from Purdue University.
