Peggy Scott Laborde has produced numerous documentaries about the history, music and culture of the Crescent City in her 20 year television career. The "Where New Orleans Shopped," recalls such missed local establishments as Schwegmann's, K & B, and D.H. Holmes from the massive coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Laborde has also produced programs that have been shown nationally on PBS, Home & Garden Television (HGTV) and the Travel Channel. She currently serves as the President of the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival, held each Spring.
