Bob Kraus serves as the vice president of the quantitative research group for AMR Research. He oversees vendor-based market-sizing research, market forecasting, and user-based survey research focused on software adoption and IT budgeting. Kraus also oversees questionnaire and sample design, field interviews and surveys, statistical analysis and modeling, and report composition.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Previously, Kraus worked as a management consultant for pricing and product feature research at International Planning and Research. Before this, he worked for six years in both the quantitative research and SMB services practices at AMR Research.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Kraus previously worked at Nortel Networks, Inc. as a research manager. In this role, he conducted product requirements, customer satisfaction, awareness/perceptions, and advertising research. Prior to Nortel Networks, Kraus worked as a customer research consultant for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).[CR-LF][CR-LF]Kraus earned his BS in mathematics from the University of Vermont and his MS in experimental statistics from the University of Rhode Island.
