John Jurkovic is an afternoon co-host for WMVP (AM-1000) in Chicago, IL.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Jurkovic is a Chicago native who had a nine-year NFL career as a defensive tackle, playing in conference championship games with both the Packers and Jaguars. He also has a TV career, working as the national analyst of the Arena Football League on TNN. He was called the NFL's Funniest Player in 1998 by Sport magazine, and is also recognized by NFL players and coaches as one of league's funniest players in polls conducted in 1999.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Born in Germany, Jurkovic is now married and has three children.
