Dr. Todd Husty has been the medical reporter for WESH-TV News Channel 2 since October 1995. He has also been the medical director of several emergency rooms in the area and the medical director for the Maitland Fire Department since 1988. Dr. Husty is currently on staff at Winter Park Memorial Hospital. He also serves as a medical director of emergency medical services for Seminole County. In addition, Dr. Husty is a board member of the American Heart Association, honorary chairman of the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk, a board member of the American Cancer Society, and he's a frequent speaker at schools, medical conferences, and social and civic association meetings. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Dr. Husty interests include sailing, skiing, dragging kids around on the lake, gardening, and not working nights, weekends or holidays. His family includes his wife, and three children. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Dr. Husty was a graduate of Coe College and the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine, a board-certified emergency physician, and a former editor for the Florida College of Emergency Physicians.
