Jack Guttentag is the "Mortgage Professor" columnist for the Inman News Features. He covers finances, mortgages, and debt financing. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In addition to his current assignment, Mr. Guttentag is a professor of finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He was formerly the Jacob Safra professor of International Banking in the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was also chief of the Domestic Research Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and was on the senior staff of the National Bureau of Economic Research as well as the managing editor of the Journal of Finance and the Housing Finance Review. [CR-LF]Dr. Guttentag was a director of the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, Guild Mortgage Investments and First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Rochester.
