Kim Gusby joined the News 3 team in 1993. She is now the morning anchor of WSAV-TV's News 3 Today program. Gusby has been a part of a number of missions to Haiti through Savannah's Christian Revival Center, where she helped provide food and clothing to some of the nation's children. Gusby also currently sits on the board of the Carver Heights Stallions Athletics Organization. She is a former instructor with the King-Tisdell Cottage Foundation's Legacy Black History program In 1998 Gusby was listed as an Outstanding Young American. She is a graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School and Savannah State University's Upward Bound Program. Gusby received her undergraduate education at Georgia Southern University where she obtained her bachelor of arts degree in communication arts.
