Jaap Favier leads Forrester's EMEA research team for Marketing and Customer Experience professionals. The team, based in London, Paris, and Amsterdam, researches the impact of the Internet, digital TV, and mobile phones on the way consumers interact with firms and with each other. His team focuses on brand and media strategies, customer experience design, and customer relationship management for B2C firms. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Previously, he was a senior analyst within Forrester's European Internet commerce group, where he analyzed European trends in business-to-business eCommerce.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Before joining Forrester, Favier held senior positions in business strategy and marketing in KLM Royal Dutch Airlines/Alitalia. He developed KLM's overall eBusiness strategy, managed business-to-business marketing, and started the eBusiness company and brand Traxxer. Prior to this, Favier helped set up distribution firm Galileo in various management team positions. His prior experience includes IT consulting and defense industry research.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Favier holds a degree in aerospace engineering from Delft University in the Netherlands.
