Becky Sue Epstein is a food writer. She is a freelance writer in both local and national publications. Epstein is currently preparing a new book, The Dessert Course. She is working on a contribution for wine-pages that will profile the Coonawarra in Australia. Her articles have appeared mostly in the Wine Spectator and Food & Wine magazines. Epstein travels extensively both within the USA and across the globe. She is now based on the East Coast after spending many years in Los Angeles, where she began her writing career as restaurant critic for the LA Times in the 1980s and 90s.
