Paul Ellis joined the morning show at WMEZ-FM in Pensacola in June 2007. Previously, he had been with WLQT-FM in Dayton, Ohio, from 1994 to 2006. Ellis began his radio career in 1972. He worked throughout Ohio, including Columbus, Lexington, Fort Wayne, Toledo and Dayton. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ellis was raised on a farm near Wapakoneta, Ohio. He joined the army at age 18 and spent three years in the service as a Clerk Typist. He received several commendations and the Good Conduct Medal, and began studying at Ohio State University after his discharge in December 1971. Ellis is married and has three children. He and his wife Deb enjoy traveling.
