Jonathan Elias is an anchor for WBZ-TV. Prior to joining the station in 2007, he was the primary anchor at KNXV-TV. Before that, he worked at KCBS-TV, WCCo-TV, KOVR-TV and WBRC-TV. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Elias is an award winning journalist, and has been recognized with numerous awards. He received an Emmy Award for his Investigative work while at KNXV-TV. He also received an Emmy during his time at WCCO-TV. When he was at KOVR-TV, he won two Emmy Awards for his investigative reporting. In addition to these awards, he has been recognized by various organizations. The Arizona Associated Press named in Anchor of the Year in 2006. He was also named the ?Best Reporter in Large Market Television? by the Associated press. He is also the recipient of the Golden Mike Award. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In his free time, Mr. Elias enjoys golf, martial arts, reading, and spending time with his wife and children. He graduated from California State University at Northridge with a bachelor?s of art in History.
