Thomas Edsall works with the National Journal Syndicate. Previously, he worked with the Washington Post, specializing in the coverage of current affairs, national government, and politics. He has been a national political reporter at the Post since 1981, focusing most recently on taxes and campaign-finance issues. Edsall also is a regular contributor to CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, Atlantic Monthly, Washington Monthly, the New York Review of Books, and the New Republic. [CR-LF]He has also worked as a reporter with the Baltimore Sun and also with the Providence Journal-Bulletin.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In addition to his reporting resume, Edsall is a published author on politics. Titles to his credit include 'The New Politics of Inequality,' 'Power and Money,' and 'Chain Reaction,' the latter of which he co-wrote with his wife. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Edsall--who studied political science at Boston University--also is a frequent speaker on the college circuit, having lectured at such prestigious universities as Brown, Stanford, and Wellesley.
