Rob DeMello is the weekend sports anchor for KITV News. He was promoted to the position in April of 2005. Outside of working at the station, he also is the co-host of Sporting News Radio on AM 1500. [CR-LF][CR-LF]His television debut was in August 2004 on KITV's High School Football Hi-Lite Show, Blitz-4. He worked four years as an intern at KGMB-TV before he was hired as a sports producer at KITV News.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Born and raised in Enchanted Lake, Kailua, O'ahu, he graduated from [CR-LF]Hawaii Pacific University, majoring in Visual Communications. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his wife, and playing with his cat "Louie", a former Pets on Set Star!
