Ed Curran is currently serving as WBBM-TV's meteorologist and technology reporter. He has worked for more than 25 years in television and radio. Mr. Curran has worked at several stations previous to his current appointment, including WGN-TV and WMAQ-TV. He has also served as a technology correspondent for CNN. Prior to his work in television, he hosted his own radio show on WGN Radio. He also worked for WLS-AM, WIND-FM and WGCI-FM Radio. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Curran has received two Emmy Awards in recognition for his work on the Auto Show. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Curran is president of Curran Communications, which publishes the technogadgets.com Web site and provides content for several publications.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Curran received a bachelor of arts in broadcast communications from Columbia College in 1977. In addition, he received a certificate in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University in 1996.
