Kira Coplin was previously the editor of Chicago Scene Magazine. Ms. Coplin currently reports for Us Weekly in addition to her contributions to Chicago Scene, the New York Post, CosmoGIRL!, OK Magazine, CITY Magazine, Zink, Desert Living and Chicago Social, among others[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Coplin has served as the communications director for the Great Lakes Boating Federation, and as an assistant editor for Great Lakes Boating Magazine. She has anchored and reported on a live news broadcast, and worked on Paramount Picture's What Women Want and HBO's 61*. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Coplin was named the associate producer for the Edie Sedgwick documentary, Girl on Fire. She also served as a contributor to Chronicle Book's "Edie: Girl on Fire."[CR-LF][CR-LF]She holds a master's degree in English from DePaul University.
