Mr. Cho returned the Washington Post as a business writer in January 2007. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Previously he was a Virginia metro reporter for the Washington Post and covered local and regional news. He has written human-interest stories based around Virginia. His work has also been republished in other publications. In 2005, he was a guest faculty member with the World Journalism Institute.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Cho has also been a writer for the Newark Star Ledger and for the the Philadelphia Inquirer, as well as for the Korea Herald in Seoul. He was among a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporting team at the Newark paper. He graduated with honors from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and holds a graduate degree from the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, as well as a bachelor's degree from Yale. He spent seven years studying piano at Juilliard as well.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In 2002, the Glenmary Research Center accused Cho of breaking a news embargo on a report titled 'Religious Congregations & Membership: 2000.' However, a Post editor argued that Cho had been in contact with the research center for some time but was never made aware of the embargo.
