Michael Cauble is currently a sports director/anchor for WBRZ-TV News 2 Louisiana. He joined the station as an intern in September 1997. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Cauble's love for broadcasting began in high school, where he was an anchor for his school's morning announcements on closed-circuit television. After his one-year internship at WBRZ-TV, Mr. Cauble began working in the operations department. He quickly made the jump into the news department. There, he rose to news editor. Later, he became the night side assignment editor. In May of 2000, Mr. Cauble began his career in the sports department as a reporter and sports photographer. [CR-LF][CR-LF]When he?s not covering sports, Mr. Cauble likes to watch movies and listen to music. He loves the outdoors and enjoys fishing and hunting. He also enjoys anything relating to LSU sports, especially Tiger football and baseball. He's a 1998 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting and a minor in history.
