Pete Bergeron is the French voice behind KRVS radio. He is the host of the program Bonjour Louisiane weekdays from 5 to 7 a.m. This program is entirely in French and showcases French cajun music.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bergeron is credited as the founder and first chairman of the Le Cajun Music Awards & Festival. The Acadian Museum of Earth has honored Pete Bergeron, as a Living Legend. He has also received the Carencro Lions Club Appreciation Award and the Cajun French Music Association's President Award. He has been selected into the Lake Charles CFMA Chapter Hall of Fame in 1992. He has also been selected as Who's Who Worldwide by Business Leaders Internationally and into the Louisiana Hall of Fame. In 1996 the Kaplan Knights of Columbus Council named him the Cajun D.J. of the Year.
