I'm a foreign correspondent and photojournalist currently
based in Ankara, Turkey. I've worked for many different newspapers, magazines,
websites, and news agencies since 2010.
I'm also a journalism grad, worked as a trainee and freelancer during
the uni starting from 2008. As a journalist, I've covered stories from Turkey,
The UK, Pakistan, Somalia, Tunisia, Niger, Bosnia, and Azerbaijan. I've spent 2
years of my career at Pakistan as a Pakistan correspondent and been to
Azerbaijan during the 2nd Karabagh conflict.
My experiences are in diplomacy, Middle East regional
issues, Istanbul culture, travel, food, human stories and Minority rights and
life in Turkey.
