Ashik K.S has been active in Multimedia journalism since the
past two decades, covering major events and assignments for national and
international media houses. His latest stint was for two years with Zoomin.TV,
a leading online news network in Europe. He joined as the Video Journalist (VJ)
Network Coordinator- Asia on January 1, 2014. During his tenure which concluded
on December 31, 2015, he has synchronized and worked with about 300 VJs from
Asia particularly in South Eastern countries.
In the process, he has developed good contacts in these
regions, enabling him to identify, groom and recruit potential VJs for the
international online news network . He was directly responsible to the desk for
the output of the VJs from Asia, who performed under his guidance.
He has also been associated with the Associated press
Television ( APTN ) and other international television channels for the last
nine years. Some of the major stories / events covered by him during his career.
