Bill Alley can be heard on air Sunday mornings from 6-11a.m. during a program called "Jukebox Gold."[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bill started his radio career in 1978 in Taunton, MA on a station which is now well known in Providence (WSNE). Bill's resume includes hosting at stations in Providence, Rhode Island, Boston, Worcester, Program Director in Martha's Vineyard, MA, and producer for a religious program. He also had shows aired in New York City and Springfield, MA. He went into format creation, production and broadcast production part time from 1982 onward with his own small company called "The Creation Station/Real Life Media." Bill was also actively pursuing financing for a radio facility in Rhode Island for one of his self-created formats which eventually aired on KCLA-FM Los Angeles (Rhythm & Essence, a soul/gospel/jazz/oldies and more mix) and cyberstationusa.com in Hartford CT from 2001-2003.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bill joined WINY in 2003, starting as the Afternoon Drive voice, coupled with John Ryan's news expertise. After a four years away from the station Bill returned to WINY in 2007, with a whole new show and new approach. "Jukebox Gold" combines all the great oldies of the 50's and 60's with a rich collection of artists remembered by so many. The show includes hits which crossed over from jazz, folk, country and more. Most of all , this show is the Sunday morning gathering place for all.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bill Alley has been involved in numerous volunteer and sponsored activities helping to cure disease and disaster. His personal project, support for ST. Jude's Research Hospital, is always front and center and he welcomes anyone who may want to help this organization find cures for very sick kids.
