ALBERTO SOLALINDE

Alberto Solalinde is an award-winning film director, cinematographer, video journalist and photojournalist based in Mexico with the possibility to travel anywhere in Mexico or any country. 

He has directed and worked in 3 feature documentaries filmed in the US, Nigeria, Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico. He just came back from Nepal after finishing the preproduction of a documentary in Nepal about the Sherpas and the latest Earthquakes in Nepal. By the beginning of 2016 Solalinde finished working on the edition of "Trial by Fire" (2016) an award-winning documentary that covers a disease called CRPS/RSD, exploring cases of people who have a complex regional pain syndrome with no cure.

Alberto is always ready to film and shoot with his cameras. He has traveled to film or make stories to many countries: US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Nigeria, Nepal, United Arab Emirates and China

Solalinde is film director recognised in film festivals across the world as: Habana Film Festival, Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara (FICG 30), West African Film Festival, Hollywood Florida Film Festival, NYC Independent Film Awards, Charlotte Black Film Festival, Miami Independent Film Festival, among others.

He has won different awards in recognised companies such as CNN and National Geographic for his work in the recent years, he has worked in videos, films and productions for Ethan Films, Canon, CBC news, Nom Labs and United Nations to name a few.
